1. QPSA (Qualified Photographic Society of America)

Awarded by: Photographic Society of America (PSA)

Description: This is the first level of the PSA Recognition of Photographic Achievement (ROPA). It is awarded to photographers who have achieved a consistent record of “acceptances” in international exhibitions and salons recognized by the PSA. It signifies a high level of technical proficiency and dedication to the craft.

2. AFIAP (Artiste FIAP)

Awarded by: Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (International Federation of Photographic Art – France)

Description: The “Artiste” distinction is the first artistic title granted by FIAP. It is awarded to photographic artists whose technical skill, artistic quality, and consistency have been proven through numerous acceptances in international salons under FIAP patronage across several different countries.

3. A.FPSI* (Artist of Federasi Perkumpulan Senifoto Indonesia)

Awarded by: Federation of Indonesian Photographic Societies (FPSI)

Description: This is a prestigious national distinction in Indonesia, meaning “Expert Photographer of the Federation.” It is awarded to members who have demonstrated exceptional photographic expertise and have made significant contributions to the advancement of photography within the national community.

4. GPU VIP 1 (Global Photographic Union – VIP)

Awarded by: Global Photographic Union (GPU)

Description: The VIP (Very Important Photos) distinction is unique to the GPU. Level 1 is awarded to photographers who have not only had their work accepted but have also won specific awards (such as Gold, Silver, Bronze medals, or Honorable Mentions) in international salons recognized by the GPU.

5. GPU Crown 1

Awarded by: Global Photographic Union (GPU)

Description: The “Crown” system is a points-based achievement program. Crown 1 is the first milestone in this hierarchy, awarded based on the total volume of works accepted in international exhibitions. It serves as a testament to the photographer’s prolific nature and the widespread global appeal of their imagery.
